Run. Run. Run.

So, my training has continued and I am so close to my goal of running my first 10K. There have been a couple moments during my training that have been slightly emotional for me. For example, when I had worn out my first pair of running shoes. Or, when I ran my first 5K. But, this week I experienced a moment that had my eyes watering.

This is what my treadmill said at the end of my run last night. I am fairly certain that I will never be an “elite” runner but this is pretty darn “elite” for me.

I know that the actual race weekend will probably be a bit emotional for me, too.

As a reminder, I’m fundraising for Special Olympics for this race. If you want to donate, you can donate directly on my fundraising site here.
