We are just flying through this checklist. At least, it seems that way to me. We’ve been busy but I’ve also tried to keep things in balance. I’m trying very hard to not schedule too much each week. We need days where we don’t do a lot.
But, it’s also nice to get a few things done all in one day.
We’ve had many book focused days. On one of those book filled days, we went to story time at Whole Foods. It’s one of our favorite story time programs because you get the benefits of story time (books, music, a librarian who loves what she does) and the benefits of Whole Foods (they provide a snack for the kids after). After story time, we picked up some food for a picnic lunch. Yay for checking one more thing off the list.
After nap time, in which neither girl actually napped, we went to the library to make a craft and to grab some new books. Both girls are in our library’s summer reading program so we’ve been reading a lot throughout the day, not just at bed time. Although we will keep reading and we will keep going to the library, I’m going to go ahead and cross those off the list, too. 🙂
